Before anything else, thank you. Seriously. To everyone who reads these emails, sends a DM, or says hello at races, I appreciate it more than you probably realize. This community has grown through real conversations, and I’m grateful for every one of them.
As the year wraps up, this note is for everyone reading, whether you’re coached by Mindset Endurance or simply following along. The lessons from this year aren’t just for the athletes I coach.
Mindset Endurance exists for a very specific type of athlete.
Athletes who want to chase goals outside their current capacity.
Athletes juggling busy jobs, families, and real-life responsibilities.
Athletes with limited time to train, but are willing to be creative, flexible, and patient.
At the core of this team is a commitment to the process.
That means adjusting training based on life and recovery, building weeks that fit your reality, knowing when to push or pull back, and treating training like a collaboration, not a checklist.
The athletes who thrive here are engaged in shaping what works best for each day, week, and month.
Across a very small roster, that approach led to some meaningful moments this year:
- PRs at 5K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 70.3, and Ironman
- First-time finishes at 70.3, 50K, 100K, 100-Mile, Ultraman, and Race Across the West
- A first Pro IM Top 10 performance
None of this came from perfect weeks or unlimited training time.
It came from consistency, patience, and honest communication.
Mindset Endurance stays small on purpose, 15 athletes or fewer, to keep the work personal, intentional, and sustainable.
Next year is already lining up to be exciting. The Mindset Endurance team has already set some big goals:
- Early-season first-time marathons
- Half marathon & Marathon PRs
- Ironman & 70.3 PRs
- First time 100 miler finishes and PRs
- Ultraman Australia
- Race Across America
The goals are big, but the approach doesn’t change.
I encourage everyone to set BIG goals. We want goals that provide opportunity for growth, create pride in the work, and don’t sell you short on what’s possible.
If you’ve got big goals and a full life outside of training, and this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
